Health Bureau announces health services deal Aug. 1

MACAO, July 31 – To cooperate with the Macau government’s anti-epidemic measures during the consolidation period, the health services, drug resupply and other services of the Conde de São Januário General Hospital, health centers health and health posts are organized on August 1 as follows:

General Hospital I. Conde de São Januário

1. Emergency medical services

  • The accident and emergency service (including the island’s emergency post) remains functional as normal.
  • The hospitalization service, emergency operations and the admission service remain functional as normal.

2. Specialized outpatient services

  • Hematology Outpatient Clinic, Oncology Outpatient Clinic, Hemato-Oncology Service Day Hospital, Hemodialysis Unit, Obstetrics Outpatient Clinic, prenatal ultrasound, and antitumor treatment in Urology provide the usual services;
  • Psychiatric patients requiring scheduled drug injection or with special conditions may come to the original appointment clinic for services from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.;
  • The Tuberculosis Prevention and Treatment Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for its drug dispensary and emergency outpatient service;
  • Blood sampling and clinical pathology analysis, X-ray examination and other examination services will provide limited services to members of the public, patients will be informed of the relevant arrangement by SMS or phone call;
  • For scheduled outpatient cases (including those suspended earlier), doctors will gradually provide services by telephone consultation; after the consultation, the staff will inform the patients about the further appointment arrangement via SMS, and the patients can pick up the medicines at designated places by presenting the SMS and their identification documents.

3. Arrangement for drug resupply

  • The specialized outpatient pharmacy offers services from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.;
  • For residents whose medication is insufficient and who require a prescription for specialist medication, they can call 8390 6000 (if the lines are busy, please leave your message, the staff will answer you as soon as possible) or register on CHCSJ Main Lobby during office hours. Patients will be informed by SMS when such drugs have been prescribed, they can collect the drugs by presenting the SMS received at the contracted pharmacies or the outpatient specialty pharmacy;
  • For Macau residents living in mainland China, their families or friends can collect medicine on their behalf and then deliver to them by post. Before sending, please take note of the relevant policies for sending medicine packages in the place of residence of the recipient, as well as the necessary proofs to be presented, for example a prescription receipt or an identity document. In case of emergency, it is advisable to consult a doctor at the current place of residence;
  • An urgent medicine delivery service will be provided to citizens in code red areas or quarantine hotels.

4. Visit arrangement

All visiting hours at CHCSJ are suspended until further notice; televisits can be organized by the hospital if necessary.

5. Arrangement for relevant services

  • Outpatient, treatment or examination services

Individuals who are unable to receive consultation, treatment or medical examination services at CHCSJ due to the suspension of services will be notified of the new arrangement by the relevant units/departments via phone call or SMS.

All persons must first perform a rapid antigen self-test and report the result on the Macau Health Code before entering CHCSJ. In addition to a negative RAT result, Code Yellow holders must also undergo nucleic acid testing as required for key groups.

II. Health centers, health posts, blood transfusion center, public health laboratory (LSP) and medical activity authorization unit

1. Health centers and health posts

On August 1, the outpatient services of health centers and health posts, as well as the services of the civil servants’ physical examination center will be suspended; only nursing services will be provided from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in all health centers.

All persons intending to enter the health centers must present a green health code containing a negative result of the rapid antigen test carried out on the same day.

Arrangement for the services concerned:

Physicians on call at health centers will prescribe drugs to patients who need them, and affected patients will be notified by telephone for the collection of drugs at health centers.

Patients in urgent need of blood tests will be informed by telephone for blood collection at health centers.

  • For people who cannot come to their antenatal care, obstetric CT scan, or child health care (vaccination) clinic as scheduled, they will be notified of the new appointment or vaccination date by phone.

2. Blood Transfusion Center

The Blood Transfusion Center will maintain the blood donation service as usual on August 1 and will be open from Monday to Sunday. To avoid long waits and crowds, citizens wishing to donate blood are advised to first make an appointment on the Blood Transfusion Center website. For all enquiries, please call 2828 6699.

Also, the blood donation bus will stop at the area between Edifício Banco Luso Internacional and Macao Square (Rua do Dr. Pedro José Lobo, Macao) as usual on August 1 (Tuesday) from 1:00 p.m. at 6 p.m. ., to provide blood donation services to the public.

3. Public Health Laboratory (LSP): Limited services or urgent services will continue on August 1.

4. Medical Activity Licensing Unit

Limited services will be provided on August 1, license renewals can be processed through the online renewal system. If there is a need for in-person services, citizens should first schedule an appointment by phone or email and then report to the Medical Activity Licensing Unit as scheduled after receiving confirmation of the appointment. -you.

Upon entering the Medical Activity Licensing Unit, citizens must wear a KN95 (or higher standard) mask, scan the venue’s QR code, and present a green-colored Macau Health Code containing the negative result of a rapid antigen test performed during the day. III. COVID-19 vaccination services

Regarding COVID-19 vaccination services, the Macau Forum Large Community Vaccination Post will be open from 09:00 to 17:30, and the Nossa Senhora do Carmo – Lago Health Center will be open from 08:30 to 12:00. :30, and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to provide immunization services.
